Talk fishing: 888-508-9948Hawaii Sport Fishing Tours is a booking marketplace. Independent providers operate the listed trips. Select a trip on this site to open its live FareHarbor reservation system, review the provider’s details and policies, and complete checkout. The provider and contact instructions are identified in your booking confirmation. Call 888-508-9948 for help choosing a trip.
Start with the island where you are staying. Our island selector shows the fishing experiences available there, and the harbor map helps you compare departures. Trips do not include flights or transportation between islands.
A private charter reserves the boat for your group within its passenger limit. Shared trips sell individual places and bring you together with other guests. Select a charter option to see its current pricing and passenger rules.
Many listed trips welcome first-time anglers, with instruction on the equipment and fishing techniques. Tell us about your experience and goals so we can help you choose. Spearfishing has different swimming and participation requirements; review those before booking.
Options range from approximately 1½-hour shoreline sessions and a 2-hour nearshore charter to half-day, three-quarter-day and full-day offshore adventures. The selected trip’s booking details show its exact duration and check-in time.
Offshore trips may target marlin, ahi (yellowfin tuna), mahi mahi and ono (wahoo). Nearshore and shore trips focus on different species. Season, conditions and fishing style all matter; no particular catch or number of fish is guaranteed.
The listed guided fishing experiences provide the equipment for their fishing style. Food, drinks, coolers and other inclusions vary by trip. Check the selected option before packing, especially if you want to bring your own gear.
Hawaii generally requires nonresidents age 15 and older to hold a Nonresident Recreational Marine Fishing License for ocean fishing, including charter boats, unless exempt. For freshwater trips, check the selected trip’s license requirements. Do not assume a license is included. Review Hawaii’s current license requirements ↗ and confirm arrangements before your trip.
Age limits and recommended ages vary by boat and activity. A shorter nearshore or shoreline trip may fit some families better than a full offshore day. Tell us the ages in your group, and check the selected trip’s passenger requirements before booking.
Catch policies vary. The listed shore sessions are catch-and-release, while boat trips may divide, retain or release fish according to the trip’s policy, legal limits and the captain’s decision. Ask about your specific charter if taking fish home matters to you.
The maps show harbor departure areas for boat trips. Select a boat or specialty trip to open its page. Your confirmation supplies the exact meeting instructions, arrival time and parking details. Freshwater fishing, shore fishing and spearfishing use separate meeting points.
Bring sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and a light layer; protect phones and valuables from spray. Review the trip’s footwear, food, drink and gear instructions. For spearfishing, check the swimwear and in-water equipment guidance in your confirmation.
Open-ocean conditions can be bumpy, even near shore. Consider a shorter trip or one of the listed land-based fishing sessions. If you need help choosing a seasickness remedy, ask a pharmacist or healthcare professional before travel.
The captain or guide decides whether conditions allow the trip to run. A route or meeting point may change, or a trip may be rescheduled or canceled. Refund and rescheduling terms are shown for your selected trip during booking.
Choose an island, select a trip option and open its live calendar. Use the month arrows to look ahead. A blank month does not necessarily mean a tour has stopped running. Call 888-508-9948 if you need help finding dates.
Cancellation deadlines and refund terms differ by charter. Review the policy attached to your selected trip before paying and keep your confirmation. Contact us promptly if your plans change.
